PROFILE OF MEMBERS OF THE MANAGEMENT BOARD
Linus Linnaeus Tannor (Chief Executive Officer)
Linus is a distinguished Research and Training Consultant who has directed several research projects both at the International and Local levels, and the current Chief Consultant/CEO of LILITAN Research and Consultancy. His professional objective is to become an eminent Professor of Research Methodology with the goal of developing a society that is empirically mindful and focused.
Professional and academic areas of specialisation of Linus include the writing of research project proposals and synopsis, supervision of graduate dissertations and theses, scientific data collection, research methodology, data management, data analysis, and statistical methods and activities.
Linus is a Doctoral Candidate (Doctor of Business Administration- Business Research Methods) with the Heriot-Watt University (UK), where he also held a Masters Degree (Quantitative Methods and Market Research). Linus also holds a Bachelors Degree (Statistics) from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Institutions and bodies for which Linus has coordinated and directed research projects for include the Center for Development Research , ZEF (University of Bonn: Germany), University of Ghana: Statistics Department, Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER), Catholic Institute of Technology, CIBT (Annual Lecturer in the Writing of Dissertations), Peace Support Operations: East Africa Regional Office (Nairobi-Kenya), UNDP: Ghana, DataBank Financial Services, Ghana Association of Teachers (GNAT), Ghana Statistical Service, MTN Ghana, Ghana Health Service (GHS), University of Cape Coast, Messrs Casotti Company Ltd: Singapore, Hohoe Municipal Assembly.
Research workshops and activities facilitated by Linus include the Writing of Dissertation among Undergraduate and Post-Graduate Students (University of Ghana, Catholic Institute of Business and Technology, CIBT, Pentecost- University, Ho Polytechnic etc), External Examiner for MPhil Thesis Defence (University of Ghana), Using SPSS for Statistical Data Analysis (ISSER), the Qualitative and Quantitative Research Paradigms, Statistical Computing in the 21st Century (University of Cape Coast), the Qualitative Paradigm: Conducting Focus Group Discussions and In-depth Interviews (German Volunteer Students to Ghana).
Some projects coordinated by Linus include the Ghana Grain Market Survey (2013), Assessment of Multi-Level Coordination Mechanisms for Climate Change and Sustainable Development in Ghana, 2010 National Population Census Report, DataBank Economic Reality Index (ERI), the Credit Risk Assessment Methodology, Attitude of Ghanaians Towards Reading, Assessment of the Quality of Graduate Thesis Supervision in Ghana’s Public Universities (On-going), Assessment of the Economic/Environmental Impacts of Establishing an Agro- processing Factory in Ada-Foah, Impact Assessment of the GNAT Youth Policy, Stakeholders’ Analysis of the ‘No Premium, No Cover Policy, etc.
Linus has also made key inputs in the 2015 National Education Sector Annual Review organised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in improving the quality of education in Ghana as well as workshop by the Research on Improving Systems of Education (RISE) by the Center for Global Development, UK.
